Kyebando HC III Upgrade

Standing at 45% cumulative actual progress after 34 weeks, Kyebando HC III is realizing an upgrade as the construction of Maternity units under MOU-URMCHIP/WPRKS/19-20/00066 takes shape.

During the site meeting to monitor progress at Kyebando HC III that was graced by Kibaale District Officials, HUMIC Chairperson, and the Consultant ARCH Design Limited it highlighted that the Ugx 1,355,020,672 project is expected to take 28 months and tasked the Contractor(Techno Three JV PS Constructions) to fulfill the contractual obligations.

He further noted that the project involves construction of a maternity ward, 2 staff houses, 2 NO. VIP 4 Stance+shower, 1 NO. 2 stance VIP, Placenta pit, Medical Waste pit, Incinerator, external works and OPD facelift at Kyebando HC III.

Tasked with completion on time the Contractor was challenged to employ more man power to realize the needed progress.
James Asiimwe the Assistant District Health Officer Kibaale expressed his worry over the HC III land that will remain un-fenced citing it might be encroached on any time or even taken as it has been with Kibaale HC IV land. And with that he tasked the Chairperson HUMIC to cause a meeting with his members and send the resolutions to the District so that a harmonious decision is reached at.

In his closing remarks Muganzi Vincent who represented the Chief Administrative Officer Kibaale called for team work. Muganzi said that the government is doing all that it can to see that its citizens are served in the best way possible and Kyebando HC III being among the 82 facilities being worked on in the entire Country is quite a blessing. He tasked the leaders of Kyebando to continue sensitizing the Community to always use the HC III services that are available.
