PARISH DEVELOPMENT MODEL MUST SUCCEED

Kibaale District Local Government staff has been tasked to ensure that the new efforts employed by Government through Parish development Model do not go to waste.
The remarks were issued by the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Habib Abubakar during a meeting of stakeholders from LLG to orient them about Parish Development Model, the meeting was also attended by Deborah Mbabazi the Resident District Commissioner Kibaale and her Deputy Carol Kashaija, the District Chairperson and a team of ToTs from the District Headquarters.
Habib challenged civil servants who are fully involved in the implementation of the program and think they may not drive the program to success, to resign voluntarily, for the District will not tolerate lazy employers who fail the government programs.
Carol Kashaija the Deputy Resident District Commissioner called all stakeholders to exhibit patriotism during the implementation of PDM. She stressed that they will not let the program fail and get dragged like other government programs before that have been failed by the implementers. She also tasked the participants to embrace teamwork, citing it is the only way PDM will taste the hands of time.
While giving his closing remarks Godfrey Muhonge Kasanga called for total technical support towards the program and pledged total support saying, the leaders at all levels should be vision bearers and guide the community to Parish Development Model stardom.
