Steadily Progressing- Nyamarwa Seed school

Budgeted at over 1.8 billion shillings, Nyamarwa Seed Secondary School project that is being funded by the government of Uganda and was contracted by KWIK BUILD CONTRACTORS AND ENGINEERING LTD is progressing well.

During inspection and monitoring of the site in Nyamarwa Sub County by Kibaale district leadership we realized that 75% of construction works have been done in a period of 15 months. The project involves an Administration block, multipurpose hall, ICT and Library block, 2 unit science block, 3 NO. 2 unit Teachers’ houses, 2 classroom block (3 NO.), 3 NO. 2 unit teacher’s kitchen, 4 unit stance and 2 unit 5 stance VIP latrines.

On engaging the site Engineer Benard Mugisha he stressed that by December 2020 they will be handing over the school to the government, however he says that COVID-19 greatly affected the works thus the delay.

The RDC Kibaale Deborah Mbabazi urged the contractor to wind up the project in the agreed time to enable effective planning for the district in regard to learning.
