Kibaale District Local Government has set 19th January 2023 as its kick-off date and exercise of applying for loans and sensitization trainings among the beneficiaries who were enrolled under Parish Development Model program.

This was revealed by Godwin Kasigwa Angalia the Residents District Commissioner Kibaale in an interview with KDR reporters in his office at Kibaale District Headquarters and according to Angalia, the exercise will be launched tomorrow in parishes of Igoza in Nyamarwa Sub County and Kituuma parish in Mugarama Sub County whereby they will be sensitizing as well beneficiaries applying for loans among the prepared Associations and SACCOs since they will be moving along with Stanbic bank officials.

He added that, after the launching of the exercise in the said parishes other technical officials will continue in other sub counties and town councils in the remaining days to ease the process so as the beneficiaries receive their funds and start operating according to applied for purpose.

However, he also added his voice by encouraging the interested individuals and entire public to embrace the program so as to overcome the poverty in homes.
